The Missouri Mosquito and Vector Control Association is an association of State, County, City and other local government agencies that are either involved with or concerned with mosquito, rodent, and other pest related vector disease issues. MMVCA meets periodically to discuss current trends in vector-borne diseases. MMVCA is a source for technical assistance and education for the general public and those involved in vector-borne disease control.

MMVCA promotes Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices for the control of insect and rodent pests. IPM involves the use of education, removal of breeding/harborage sites, use of alternative control methods, and where necessary the use of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered pesticides according to labeled uses.
